New Minigames added (Math, Time To Stop, Quick Tap, Swipe All Night)
Queue Conquest » Devlog

This is the second dev log.
Since the previous log, I have been working on creating a multitude of different games.
I realize that I should make the updates more frequent to keep things more organized and will hopefully remember to do so.
The games that were added are:
- Math:
A simple timed multiple choice math minigame that has an equation and 4 choices to choose from. The player will tap the choice they believe to be the correct answer. If they are correct, they will increase their score and a new question with 1 extra term will be created. If they are incorrect, the correct answer will be shown, another question with the same number of terms is created and the player will lose a life. The game ends when either the player runs out of lives (3 by default) or when the timer runs out.- Addition Math -> Only Math questions
- Subtraction Math -> Only Subtraction questions
- Multiplication Math -> Only Multiplication questions
- Combined Math -> Includes Addition, Subtraction, and Multiplication
- Time To Stop:
The player will have to tap the screen when they believe the timer is almost exactly 0. The timer will be visible immediately as the game starts but will slowly fade out. Points are awarded depending on how close the player is to 0. If the player doesn't tap before the time reaches 0, they get no points. - Quick Tap:
The goal of the game is to tap the objects that appear on screen as quickly as you can. The quicker to tap an object, the more points that tap will award you. To help with understanding each objects point value, over time they will change color and get smaller. If the object becomes too small, it will disappear along with the points it offered. The game ends when the timer runs out. - Swipe All Night:
The goal of the game is to swipe as many cards/objects into their correct directions within a time span. The player can swipe a card by tapping and holding the card and swiping it the in the direction it indicates. If the swipe direction is correct, the player is awarded a point. If the direction is incorrect, the player receives no points and the timer is reduced by a set amount (incentivizing actual play instead of mindless swiping to reward players).
Some games that are planned (These are just ideas with no final thoughts as of yet):
- Goal Keeper
- Block incoming balls or objects from entering your basket
- If 2 objects enter your basket, the game finishes
- Score based on how long you can go without getting something inside
- Hup Hup Jump
- Character will run on 2D left to right
- Player needs to tap the screen to make the character jump
- Objective is to jump over obstacles or pits
- If player doesn't jump in time, the game finishes
- Shape It Out
- Attempt to draw the shape indicated
- Timer to create challenge and fun
- Points awarded based on how in the lines the shape is
- Drift and Drive
- Control a car going forward
- Tap and hold the card to move it
- Dodge oncoming obstacles to go a distance
- Points based on distance and/or objects avoided
